1) Customer satisfaction
We want you to be happy with your online shopping experience.  If for any reason you are not satisfied with our customer service or products purchased from the web store, please let us know immediately.  We will do our best remedy the situation.

2) Payment
Park-Lane Tobacconist gladly accepts all major credit cards, as well as personal checks and money orders for web store purchases. If paying by personal check, your order may not ship until the check “clears” and funds are collected. Credit card payments are charged the day the order ships out.

NY State Residents are responsible for all applicable taxes, including sales tax (7.00%) and Tobacco tax (46%).  These amounts will be added to your order after checkout.

3) Shipping
Most orders will be shipped in 24-48 hours, except on weekends and holidays. Most items are shipped via UPS, and in certain cases USPS or other carrier if applicable. Orders over $100.00 receive free shipping via UPS ground. Some insurance is included with UPS shipments. For other carriers, insurance is the responsibility of the customer and is not included. Please indicate that you would like your package insured, and this amount will be added to your order total.

If an item is not in stock, you will receive an email notification or phone call regarding that item.  We will do our best to expedite delivery of the out of stock item or offer a substitution.

International shipments are handled on an individual basis. Once an order is placed we will obtain an international shipping quote, and send an email notifying you of the cost to ship to your address. We will not falsify customs documents, so please don’t ask us to. Park-Lane Tobacconist cannot be held responsible for lost, damaged or confiscated shipments. We suggest shipping via US registered mail with insurance for all International orders.

4) Return Policy
Park-Lane Tobacconist will accept returns for a period of 15 days from date of purchase. Items must be returned in new unused condition and original packaging, and not damaged or otherwise tampered with. You must call or email to receive authorization for your return, otherwise returns will be not be accepted. Shipping charges are non refundable. If item qualified for free shipping, the shipping charge will be deducted from any refund or credit. Cigars or pipe tobacco can only be returned if they are damaged or defective, or if an incorrect item was shipped.

5) Privacy
Any information collected or maintained by Park-Lane Tobacconist is used solely for the purpose of processing orders, and customer service. Your personal information is not shared or disclosed to outside parties. We will release information to outside parties only if made necessary for completion of an order.

6) Safety and security
ParkLanetobacconist.com has taken all necessary precautions to ensure your online safety and security. All personal and financial information is submitted via our secure server and all information is safeguarded either physically in the store or electronically online. Please contact us via email if you have any questions regarding the security of your information while shopping with Park-Lane Tobacconist.

7) Special orders and Layaways
Please contact us if you would like to special order any item not regularly carried in our web store. We will do our best to locate that special pipe, cigar, hard to find tobacco, lighter, accessory, etc. and report back to you with the details.

If you would like to place an item on layaway, please contact us via email, and we will do our best to accommodate you. Certain items may not be eligible for layaway.

8) Disclaimer
The pages within this web site and store contain information pertaining to the sale and use of Tobacco products. You must be 18 years of age or older to view any pages of the website and/or purchase tobacco, or tobacco related products from this website. By entering the website, or selecting any item or page of this website, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older and are of legal age to purchase tobacco products and or smoking accessories. We reserve the right to deny any order we believe has been placed by a person less than 18 years of age, and to verify delivery to a cardholder.
